Could the Hulking Draugr's color be the result of muscle putrification or perhaps a different burial practice alltogether? Could there have been more recent instances of dragon cultists, or am I just overthinking? (That's my secret. I'm assuming that the old Nord burial practice consisted of the removal of organs (possibly blood?) from the dead before possibly drying the corpses with salt, similar to the ancient Egyptian practice of mumification. The Hulking Draugr itself appears to be in more of a putrefied state, rather than a mummified husk, like regular Draugr. Since dragons were still alive, but hidden, after the Dragon War, would it be safe to say that some secluded sects of dragon cultists survived into historical times? They may have simply returned to the old Nordic tombs to bury their honored dead with the older cult dead. My theory is that Hulking Draugr are significantly less decayed/ improperly prepaired for death.
